How to request tickets
As a SUSU Club or Society, you can request to add tickets to our Union's online box office (boxoffice.susu.org) by completing our SUSU Box Office Ticket Request Form.
Once completed, our activities team will be in touch with the person who filled the form to confirm that the tickets are added to the system.
Our box office tickets are digital and your customers will receive a confirmation email with a unique QR code as proof of purchase.
Tracking ticket sales
Your committee can check box office ticket sales for your event through the Groups Hub portal under 'View Box Office Ticket Sales'. This tool also allows you to email customers with information about the event. Please note you can only use this contact information for relevant event information and updates, and not for marketing/promotional purposes. Scanning tickets
You can access the scanner for box office tickets through Groups Hub by going to 'Scan E-Tickets'. This only works on a device with a camera, for example a smartphone or tablet. If you experience any issues with the scanner, please email suactivities@soton.ac.uk with a screenshot, and the name your phone model and its operating system.
Box Office Costs/Fees
- There is a £0.50 service fee per ticket purchase (charged to customer).
- As a SUSU Club or Society, you do not need to pay VAT on your ticket income. You will get the full return of your ticket price.
T&Cs for your customers
You are not required to refund tickets unless you have cancelled the event or made significant changes to the event time, location or format. You may decide to refund a ticket for other reasons such as financial hardship, or if the customer can't attend due to ill health. This is for you to decide on a case-by-case basis.
