Student Groups
P 3. Update on affiliations and funding

The most recent Student Groups Committee meeting was held on Friday 9th May. A full review of the year will be published at a later date, as there are a small number of changes still out for approval by the Committee.

Decision-making processes
P 4. Business from AGM

Two policies, Sabbatical term limits (1314P19) and Improved Leadership and Representation Policy (1314P28) were referred from the AGM - the first to Democracy Zone Committee for consideration, and the second to Union Council, with a view to holding a referendum. The Committee is invited to discuss these and identify a suitable means of taking them forwards. The proposers have been invited.

Two new halls, Gateway and Mayflower, will be opening in September 2014, and the JCRs Committee by-law has been updated to create these new JCRs. The new by-law is attached, for approval.
