SUWPC Women's team have made leaps and bounds in the waterpolo community over the past few years, moving up from BUCS South-East to the Southern BUCS Premiership, despite most of our members having never played the sport before joining! We have 2 weekly training sessions along with whole club (and girls only) socials and would love for you to join us to give it a try! For Women's in Sports week SUWPC are hosting a bring along a friend/open taster session for anyone wanting to have a try at Waterpolo! The taster will involve a full walk through of all the rules and the skills involved in a Waterpolo match, along with the opportunity to have a go at a game alongside our Women's team and fellow polo freshers! Now is the perfect time to give water polo a try as the women have just finished their season and are looking to the future, could this include you? Where: Jubilee Sports hall reception where you'll be met by our wonderful female committee who will answer any and all questions and help you along with the taster session. Southampton University has a Men's team and a Ladies' team entering BUCS and playing a variety of friendlies, offering a full fixture list and opportunity for players of all abilities to compete and learn. Out of the pool we also offer a great socials, encompassing everyone's enjoyments. Our sessions are: WEDNESDAY: 7-8pm (Women) 8-9pm (Men) THURSDAY: 8-9PM (Swim lane) SUNDAY: 7-8pm(Men) 8-9pm(Women)
