Make it possible to have a separate membership for the climbing wall

Climbing has become an increasingly popular sport in the past couple of years, and more and more students who wouldn't typically be involved in other sports have taken it up. For these students, it doesn't make sense to pay £220 a year just to access the climbing wall at any time of day, when they have no use for any other facilities accessed with a Sport and Wellbeing membership.
I propose that the Union lobbies the University to create a single-purpose membership for the climbing wall. This would support the initiative to make sport more accessible to students, as climbing is a more inclusive sport for those that don't find it easy to participate in team sports.

Unfortunately this has been supersceded by the impact of coronavirus as sport and wellbeing have had to shut the climbing wall. However, more generally the membership fee has been reduced to £12.99 per month and peak times have been removed, so hopefully when it reopens you will find this much better.
