We’re recruiting outgoing and enthusiastic students to join the SUSU venues team as Student Engagement Reps. Stag’s is your student union bar, and we are looking for student staff to act as reps, encouraging clubs, socs and groups to come to Stag’s for socials and events. The successful applicant will have three main aims: encourage groups to visit Stag’s, look after them when they’re there, and reach out to them afterwards. We want to deliver venues and events that students find appealing, and we know that to do that we need your input. If you think you are up for the challenge of creating memorable nights out for your fellow students, this is the role for you.
About You
You will need to be confident and outgoing. Ideally with existing links to clubs and societies within SUSU. You must have relevant experience in customer service or rep type roles and be comfortable interacting with all kinds of people through all kinds of different media. This could be face to face, over social media or via email or phone. You will need to be organised as you’ll be facilitating the social/event in the venue and the club or society will be relying on you to deliver what’s promised.
