Tickets & booking are now available for lots of our events! Tickets can be bought via our Box Office. Some events require free booking to attend - check out our events calendar to book your place. All official Freshers' events for the University of Southampton can be found on this page and on our events calendar.
Please be cautious if you see Freshers' 2021 events being promoted by external companies & venues - official events are only hosted by SUSU and the University.

Keeping you safe
We want to ensure Freshers is a safe experience for everyone attending. We believe the best way to do this is to ask everyone attending a large-scale Freshers event to show email or text confirmation of a negative Lateral Flow Test taken on the same day of the event you’re attending. We will be checking these at the door of events. We’re also asking that everyone wears a mask at some of our larger events and when moving through our venues, unless you are exempt from wearing one.

Freshers Welcome Parties
It's moving in weekend and we have your Welcome Parties covered! Join us for a Freshers Fiesta on Friday 24th September, Freshers Carnival on Saturday 25th September and Freshers Beach Party on Sunday 26th September! Expect games, DJs, cocktail bars, silent discos, great food & more. Tickets are now available to book!
Roller Discos
Dance and skate the night away in The Cube at our Roller Discos! Tickets include an hour of skating and a free drink at Below Deck. Tickets are now available to book!
Laser Tag
Step into the battle zone for a game of Laser Tag! Who will be the champion? Tickets include a 30 minute game of laser tag and a free drink in Below Deck. Tickets are now available to book!
Clubs and Societies Fair
We have over 300 clubs & societies you can join at Southampton - and this is your chance to meet them all! Find your new favourite hobby, a community of fellow students or a new sport you love. Clubs and Societies Fair will take place over two days with different clubs and societies attending each day. Booking is required to attend (it's free!).
Freshers Festival
Join us for a weekend of live music, entertainment and chilled out fun on Saturday 02 and Sunday 03 October. Don't miss the Freshers Festival Afterparty on Saturday 02 October - tickets now on sale!

Freshers Fair
It's the big one! Don't miss your chance to grab some amazing student freebies, deals and discounts, plus say hello to your students' union (that's us!). Booking is required to attend (it's free!)
Sports Taster Sessions
Find a new sport you love this year at Southampton! During Freshers we'll be running free sports taster sessions for you to meet our Team Southampton and Intramural clubs, and find out which ones you'd like to join.
Live Music Mondays Launch Party
This one you won't want to miss - Live Music Mondays are back! Join us for our amazing launch night on Monday 27 September in The Cube.
Freshers Vybe Launch
Introducing Vybe, our brand new on-stop party pop night in The Cube! We're bringing you all the cheesy hits you love, all night, right here on campus! Don't miss our launch night with special guest DJ: Dev on Friday 01 October!
WSA Freshers Fair
We're bringing our Freshers Fair to everyone at the Winchester School of Art on Tuesday 05 October! Don't miss your chance to grab some amazing student freebies, deals and discounts. Booking is required to attend (it's free!)
