Turkish Society

The University of Southampton has students from various nations that come to United Kingdom and start their journey of higher education. This can be hard for those leaving their family and loved ones behind. In order to, smooth out this transition and give these new students somewhere they belong. One of these nations is Türkiye, with a significant number of Turkish students in the student body. This society aims to satisfy that need and help out Turkish Students to communicate and teach Turkish culture to those interested.

The Committee

All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for Turkish Society this year are:

Membership Information

These are the current membership fees offered by Turkish Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
