Southampton University’s Media Society. We do quite a lot, ranging from
- Presenting/Commentating
- Live Production and Filming
- Journalism/Press Events
- Podcasting and Radio
- Post Production
- Directing and Producing on scripts
Whatever you want to do (within reason) we will try our hardest to help you. We are associated with Student Radio Network which gives us opportunities to work with the BBC and other student radio stations.
Membership to our society has always been free and we welcome everyone! Regardless of what degree you are studying or year of study you are in, Surge Media is a great place to be creative! So there is no harm in joining.

Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by SURGE, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
