Mountain Bike
The Southampton University Mountain Bike Club is a group of active and friendly riders. We ride twice a week at 2pm on Wednesdays and at 1pm on Sundays, meeting on the redbrick (Just outside Stags!) Ride times may vary with weather and daylight hours. We do all styles of Mountain Biking including Cross Country, Enduro, Downhill and Dirt Jumping. We go on regular trips to venues such as Rogate and Windhill B1keparks, QECP and FoD, with at least 3 big weekend trips a year to huge parks within the UK like Bike Park Wales. Most commonly we can be found at Southampton Bike Park and the volunteer built trails at Lordswood. Don't be afraid to get in contact! One-off ticket error - FOD
A ticket to rectify an issue with FOD trip ticketing.
FOD Trip Ticket - 14th to 16th March 2025
Good day champs,
This is a product purchase for our trip happening on the 14th to 16th March 2025.
This trip entails riding at the illustrious Forest of Dean (FOD) Cycle Centre, giving you the option to purchase an uplift ticket on the Sunday if you aren't up for a weekend of pedalling, or to keep a trip cheap for those who fancy. We rate this location as beginner to advanced, meaning there are trails for everyone to enjoy, and plenty of progression for those aiming to learn.
We will be travelling in minibuses with Will and James as your drivers, so as always please remember your sheets for bike protection.
We will be staying at Cinderford Scout Hut so please bring a sleeping mat and sleeping bag. Contact committee if you are unable to provide these, and we will see what we can do.
The price includes: travel, accommodation, breakfast and an evening meal on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. With this in mind, please bring lunch and snacks for both days. We will be stopping en-route for people to purchase this if they fancy. For the Friday and Sunday evening meals, we will be attending a fast-food restaurant of choice roughly halfway into our journeys.
