Koalas Medics Bouldering
Koalas were set up last year, so we are fairly new here! We welcome all levels of bouldering ability and would love for you to join us! We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at Bouldershack and put on other events throughout the year. Details on how to get involved can be found on SUSU website, or our Instagram or Facebook pages.
We are a social bouldering society for people with all levels of climbing experience - from pros to complete newbies!
We hold weekly sessions on Wednesdays from 6:00pm at Bouldershack (portswood - https://bouldershack.co.uk/). These sessions cost £6.50 (or £5.50 if you get there early - before 4pm!) for Koalas members, plus £3.50 shoe hire. We also have a society Whats-app group, where you can organise to go with other members outside of the weekly Wednesday session. Prices for other days of the week can be found at: https://bouldershack.co.uk/prices-membership. We also have weekly socials on Saturdays and host joint socials with other societies. So if weekly sociable bouldering and even more sociable socials are your cup of tea, come and join us!
We are a new society, founded in 2021, and are really excited to meet you all! If you want to join us, and have not climbed before (or not very much!), please message us on social media to let us know when you're coming along & we will make sure to look after you! If you are a competent climber/boulderer already, just turn up at 6:30pm on the day & find us in Bouldershack cafe. We welcome all levels of ability and would love for you to join us.
