Archers Road FC
Archers Road FC are an Intramural Football team founded and resided at Archers Road Halls. We offer two teams spread over 4 divisions over Wednesdays and Sundays. We are a diverse club welcoming people from ANY course and from ANY halls Our 1s play Division 1 on a Wednesday and Division 2 on a Sunday. Our 2s play Division 2 on a Wednesday and Division 3 on a Sunday. In addition to this, we offer bi-weekly social events and an annual tour, you do not want to miss out. Welcome to the mighty Archers Road Football Club. We are the third most successful team in the University of Southampton's IM league, most recently winning the plate at the yearly Glen football tournament and going invincible in Sunday Division. Comprised of Romero and Gateley halls, Archers Road has the best community at the university.
About Us:
- We have a 1st team and a 2nd team, both play in the Wednesday and Sunday IM divisions, so two games a week.
- The 1st team is in Division 1 Wednesday and Division 2 Sunday.
- The 2nd team is in Division 2 Wednesday and Division 3 Sunday.
- Regular training sessions.
- We're getting better and better year on year and right now we're poised to keep progressing.
- You DONT have to have lived or live in Archers Road accommodation to play for us!
