Celtic Society
We as the Celtic Society seek to welcome all students who consider themselves part of the Celtic nations (Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Brittany) to the University of Southampton with open arms. Our aim is to make you feel a member of a welcoming family of students from the various Celtic nations who we hope you will in time feel a strong closeness with and feel a part of! Rydyn ni fel y Gymdeithas Geltaidd yn ceisio i groesawu pob myfyriwr sy'n ystyried eu hunain fel rhan o'r gwledydd Celtaidd (Cymru, Yr Alban, Iwerddon, Cernyw, Ynys Manaw, Llydaw) i brifysgol Southampton. Ein nod yw creu deulu croesawgar sy'n cynnwys amrywiaeth o genhedloedd Celtaidd, y gobeithiaf y byddwch yn teimlo'n agos iawn atynt ac yn teimlo rhan ohonynt!
Our typical activities include organising socials that celebrate the major holidays/festivals that we are familiar with. For example, St David's Day, St Patrick's Day, Burns Night.
We also make sure to watch and support our national teams in international football and rugby fixtures such as the Six Nations Championship.

Rydyn ni hefyd yn wneud yn siŵr i wylio a chefnogi ein timau cenedlaethol mewn gemau rhyngwladol pêl-droed a rygbi fel y chwe gwlad.

Name | Cost | Valid Period | Details | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Year Membership | FREE | 01/09/2024 - 30/06/2025 | This membership ensures that we can keep track of everyone who is interested in attending our events and that we have the necessary contact information if we need to contact you about details of an event you may have signed up for. Membership is required to attend all events due to insurance concerns and to vote/run in the annual AGM. Mae'r aelodaeth hon yn sicrhau y gallwn gadw cofnod o bawb sydd â diddordeb mynychu ein digwyddiadau a bod gennym y wybodaeth gyswllt angenrheidiol os oes angen cysylltu â chi am fanylion digwyddiadiau. Mae aelodaeth yn ofynnol i gymryd rhan ym mhob digwyddiad oherwydd pryderon yswiriant ac i bleidleisio yn ein AGM blynyddol. |
