SUSU Theatre Group is proud to present our 2024 Freshers’ Show: The Marriage of Figaro by Pierre de Beaumarchais. NOTE: This is the play version of the show, NOT the opera version!

**Thursday will be a relaxed performance with no fog machine, strobe lighting, and reduced volume in scenes where there is shouting.

On a single, eventful day, Figaro and his fiancée Suzanne must navigate a series of clever plots to outsmart their employer, the scheming Count Almaviva. With a delightful mix of humor, mistaken identities, and ingenious plans, this play highlights the power of love and intelligence over arrogance and deceit. Perfect for an evening of laughter and delight, "The Marriage of Figaro" promises to entertain and enchant audiences of all ages.
