As part of Black History Month, we are showing the film Love and Basketball

Romantic sports drama tracing the intersecting paths of two young basketball players. Growing up together in 1980s California, Quincy (Omar Epps) and Monica (Sanaa Lathan) both have a strong love for the game, and, when they attend university on sports scholarships, gradually develop a love for each other. However, after a family crisis pulls him in a different direction, Quincy leaves college, begins playing professionally, and the two drift apart. Years later Monica visits Quincy in hospital and tries to muster the courage to tell him that she still loves him.
