Join us for a short introduction to our society and what Soapbox racing is all about.

Then we will dive into an open design session with opportunities to get hands on with and influence the direction for our next-generation Soapbox racecar!

After the session, all CAD design files will be made available so you can tinker in your own time and create your own unique soapbox car.

The Organisers

We are the University of Southampton's Soapbox Racing Society and we design, build and race gravity-powered carts. Having competed in the Red Bull Soapbox Race 2022 and Andover Soapbox Race 2024, we now need more 'engineers' to help us design a new and improved cart for the next racing season!
