The University of Southampton Hindu Society intends to host a Mela (fete) to mark the celebration of Holi (celebrating the symbolic affirmation of good over evil) on the 6th of March from 11am-3pm within The Concourse. We encourage and welcome those of all ethnicities and faiths to attend - this is a celebration of colour, warmth, and solidarity. We shall be selling colour packets, as well as an assortment of delicious snacks, alongside the provision of a plethora of enjoyable games and activities including face painting, mehendi designs, and our first ever raffle! We truly look forward to welcoming all to celebrate this momentous occasion with us.
