Why vote for Jasmin Mayo?
I am excited to run for the position of Occupational Therapy Department President this year. With my experience as a course representative in my first year, I have effectively advocated for my peers and addressed our collective needs. This role has taught me the importance of listening to student concerns and translating them into actionable solutions. Additionally, as an RCOT student ambassador, I am well-versed in current affairs affecting our field, which enables me to bridge the gap between our university and professional developments.
If elected, I will prioritise open communication, ensuring every student’s voice is heard and valued. I believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels empowered to share their ideas and concerns. As a disabled student, I am particularly passionate about creating an inclusive atmosphere that allows everyone to fully engage in their university experience. This commitment to inclusion will guide my initiatives and decisions.
