Why vote for Audrey O'Brien?
TL;DR Vote for me!
Hi!
I'm Audrey, a second-year Adult and Mental Health nursing student. If you're in my year, you've probably heard me speak up in most lectures since day one! I want to share why I would be an excellent fit for the Nursing Department President and deserve your vote.
I am genuinely passionate about advocating for the student experience. Every student deserves to be heard, and I am committed to advocating for all. I am confident in presenting arguments and addressing inequalities, regardless of who I need to address, and I have already done so during SSLC meetings this year as a course rep. I have experience collaborating with teams to improve internal processes and efficiency and have ideas on streamlining SSLC meetings for the future.
I am committed to creating opportunities for Course Reps to get to know each other and get more involved. I believe that by working together, we can achieve great things. If elected, I would also work with NurSoc as I believe in the importance of creating a solid community.
If you vote for me, I will keep you updated on what is going on behind the scenes. I believe that transparency and open communication are vital in building trust and fostering a strong sense of community.
So, what do you say? Will you vote for me as your Nursing President? I promise to work tirelessly to make the School of Nursing the best it can be.
