Why vote for Chloe Lam?

Throughout my undergraduate years, I enjoy studying and engaging in our school community. I am honored to have served as a volunteer student ambassador for the British Psychological Society during the academic year 2023-24, where I had the opportunity to host several great events and connect with many friendly faces in the community. With a deep passion for enhancing the student experience in the School of Psychology, I am eager to contribute to leading our school to new heights.

As an international student myself, I am dedicated to representing the interests of my fellow psychology students. If elected, I will strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all members of our school community. I wish every voice to be heard and valued, fostering camaraderie among students and faculty alike.

Drawing from my experiences as a peer leader and student helper during my second year, I am motivated to promote a sense of belonging and unity within our school. I will focus on implementing initiatives that enhance the academic experience of psychology students. From organising workshops and seminars to facilitating networking opportunities with professionals, I am determined to provide valuable resources and support to help students develop academically and professionally.

Furthermore, I am committed to advocating for the needs and concerns of psychology students at the university level. Whether addressing issues related to curriculum development, resource allocation, or student support services, I will actively engage with the university ensuring our voices are heard and our interests are represented.
