Varsity 2025 – Come Support Your Team
Get ready for this year’s Varsity – the ultimate inter-university sports competition between rivals Southampton and Portsmouth. This year’s Varsity takes place on home turf, and events will spread from Sunday 16th March to the final on the 22nd/23rd March.
Tickets are now sold out but if you want to support your team you can purchase a spectator ticket for just £10 at the gate on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March. These tickets are limited, so be sure to arrive early to secure your entry.
To ensure a safe Varsity, all attendees must follow the Varsity Code of Conduct. Any breaches could result in removal from the event.

When and where is Varsity 2025?
Varsity 2025 is being hosted in Southampton and events will be hosted in a range of venues across multiple dates. Indoor Varsity will mainly take place on Saturday 22nd March at Highfield Campus including locations in Jubilee Sports Centre and locations within the Students Union ( Building 42). Outdoor Varsity will take place on Sunday 23rd March and will be mainly based at Wide Lane Sports Ground. If you have any questions please contact sususport@soton.ac.uk
What does my ticket include?
Tickets include:
- Varsity 2025 T-shirt – This is your entry ticket to fixture venues. T-shirts will be available to collect from The Locker, Building 42 from Monday 24th Feb. You must show your ticket Confirmation to collect your T-shirt.
- Entry into the Varsity Afterparty on Sunday 23rd March
How do I collect my Varsity t-shirt?
T-shirts will be available to collect from The Locker, Building 42 from Monday 24th February. You will need to show your ticket confirmation in order to collect. Sizes will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please remember that you must wear your Varsity T-shirt to gain access to all Varsity 2025 events and venues and the Varsity Afterparty on Sunday 23rd March.
