A bit about me and my time at the University of Southampton (and SUSU)

I graduated with a degree in Criminology in the summer of 2024. Most of my time at uni was taken up by being heavily involved in SUSU Theatre Group. Being a part of such an amazing society really improved my confidence and enriched my university experience more than I thought possible.

What do you do as VP Activities?

My role as VP Activities is to support all societies (big and small!) to grow, effectively engage members, and access everything SUSU has to offer. My main responsibilities include allocating grant funding to societies, sitting on University meetings surrounding activities, and most importantly being a friendly face you can come and speak to.

Why did you become a Sabb in the first place?

I ran for the role because I really wanted other students to have the same great experiences that I did with activities at SUSU. I also remember how hard it was for me to join at the beginning because I was really anxious, and I wanted to find ways to make societies seem less daunting for Freshers.
