SUSU Culture Festival 2025

SUSU recently wrapped up our vibrant Culture Festival from 10 – 23 March. This exciting two-week celebration brought together students and societies to share, learn, and experience the rich cultural diversity that makes up our university community.

Here’s a look back at the amazing events that made this year’s Culture Festival.

From the colourful buzz of Culture Day, where more than 10 student societies proudly showcased their unique traditions, music, clothing, and faiths, to the heartwarming Langar hosted by the Sikh Society, serving free vegetarian meals to over 600. Culture Festival was packed with memorable moments. Italian Society, as well as Singapore, Indonesian and Thai society, prepared a feast with traditional dishes in The Bridge. The Persian Society lit up Redbrick with their Fire Festival, inviting people to jump over bonfires in a symbolic act of renewal. Indian Society held their annual sold-out Holi Colour Festival, where 200 students danced, celebrated spring, and covered each other in colour powder. 10 events took place across the two weeks, and all of them were organised by passionate student volunteers!

Culture Festival 2025 was a resounding success, bringing hundreds of students together to celebrate what makes our university so special. From food and music to tradition and dance, every event contributed to a more connected and culturally enriched student community.
