Refreshers Fair
Refreshers allowed us to end January with a bang! Over 1,200 students attended the event, which featured over 65 stalls, including external companies, SUSU services and Clubs & Societies.
Attendees had access to some fantastic freebies, including 1,000 cups of cloudy lemonade and 2,800 slices of pizza.
You Are More Than…
As students headed into exam season, we wanted to remind them that You Are More Than Your Studies. We hosted various events and food giveaways!
Over 510 students visited the library for the cereal bar/cookie giveaway.
Alcohol Awareness
We saw a fantastic number of students visit our Alcohol Awareness stall in January.
We gave away a selection of freebies, such as soft drink tokens, bananas, energy drinks, Be Aware cups, and mocktail recipes!

In December and January 3,746 tickets were booked through our Box Office, while there were over 2,320 evening visits to The Stag’s Bar!

SUSU Socs & Team Southampton
In Grant Round 2, the SUSU Activities team has proudly awarded a total of £88,221 to support 133 Clubs & Societies.
Gender Expression Fund
Semester 1 trial ended, and we have funded 19 applications supporting trans/non-binary students. We have now secured and additional £250 for semester 2.
SUSU Advice Centre

SUSU Sustainability
In 2024 we saw an increase of 384% vs 2023 in reusable cups used in our shop.
This is going such a long way in helping us reduce the number of cups sent to landfills.
