Women’s History Month
Working closely with our societies we ran a month worth of events and awareness raising initiative celebrating and honouring women. Everything from conferences to bra collections and this year included our women in sports week – all made possible by the collaboration with out clubs and societies.

March saw that announcement that after months of discussions with the University, SUSU were able to secure a partial refund for the Sports Pass.

Activities:
RAG Fight Night
740 tickets sold, £11,181.38 raised overall and fighters represented 26 of our clubs and societies.
Culture Festival
Included 19 events over 2 weeks with over 1800 attendees and involved 15 international/cultural/faith societies. Thank you to everyone involved in making this years festival bigger and better than ever before.
Team Southampton Awards – We received over 300 Nominations
Four of our Taekwondo Club members have qualified for the EUSA European Universities Games 2024. This is one of the highest numbers to qualify from within the BUCS taekwondo community.
March was the peak of competition season for USD and our Dance societies. Overall, they have secured 33 trophies, 14 first place wins and 6 special awards.

The Bridge
We were delighted to be able to start serving food again in The Bridge. (Can we use bridge branding and some food shots?)
The Shop
We now have food donation bins in The Shop (use image) as part of our Cost of Living work.
