There are new food donation points in the SU shop. The new location is in addition to the current food donation point in The Advice Centre (B40) on Highfield Campus.
If you have food items that are in-date and unopened you can donate them. The food bank provides tinned, dry and long-lasting food, as well as hygiene products. Items which can be donated are: cereal, soup, tinned items, tea and coffee, lentils, beans and pulses, rice, pasta, biscuits, boxed milk, toiletries (deodorant, shower gel, toothpaste) and household items (laundry liquid detergent, laundry powder, washing up liquid).
As UK household costs and bills have risen, so have living costs for students. The extra donation points have been placed to support students in need. Students will be able to collect food items from The Advice Centre.
